Marten, the rotation parameter controls the rotation of the first short edge around the defing curve. As long as you are not changing the grasshopper graph box, there is only one solution. The Method works as follows: neighbouring straight lines always intersect in a point, if you elongate them -> the surface between them is part of a triangle -> the surface is flat.
