Developable Surface Modelling

A grasshopper definition for developable surface strips. Download here. Mårten Nettelbladt gives a nice description of developable surface types.

I am curious what you will do with it. Let me know ...

Thanks! Very interesting!
Is there always just ONE solution for a specified rotation?
Is this using the PQ method?

Marten, the rotation parameter controls the rotation of the first short edge around the defing curve. As long as you are not changing the grasshopper graph box, there is only one solution. The Method works as follows: neighbouring straight lines always intersect in a point, if you elongate them -> the surface between them is part of a triangle -> the surface is flat.

Great Script! Just make sure to change the "N" value for PFrames or else it can't calculate.

Hi, I am having problem with the script, what it does only generate points and pframes without the surface.
Could you help me on this?
